In fact, my work relies on too many other people not to be living in dread of certain things, but .... though for once, the internet is happy enough, my FTP authentication details have been erased from the Firewall, and though I can look at my now out-of-date site, I can't do a blind thing about it. Except look. And phone the help desk. However, they are successfully keeping me away from the guy who would actually do the mending and it's now after 4pm, so my chances of getting my site updated before they throw me out of the building at 5pm are shrinking fast. You know, sometimes, when you call them up and you just *know* they're not going to fix it? That's where I am. Right there.
But on the bright side, I found my watch, so you can stop worrying about that now, Neal.
