hilarious mistakes in view of camera

Oh, that Hexstatic gig/halloween club night at the Zodiac, how much did I enjoy it? Well, their photographer's put up just four shots to represent the total awesomeness of Creepshow; Hexstatic in their masks, a crowd shot, a nice lady dressed as a nun, and a screaming fool with stupid red hair. Suggested caption: Brains! Blood! Fake Tan!

(Ah-ha! I sneakily access the full directory and present another for the Jeremy Dennis ego set! Lovely catlady + red-hair fool; and one of Damian: dancing boys with background Damian!)

Smiling, screaming, dancing, a good night all round. What I'm smiling *at* is Jack Nicholson losing it in The Shining. Or possibly mash-ups of trailers for really bad horror films...

ah, the joys of open directories
A few days ago they managed to find an excuse to show a short clip of some kittens on Newsround (the freeview channel version, not the BBC1 one alas) esepcially for me; it's running joke when we do talkback checks.

So yesterday I asked 'any kittens today?'

the answer: 'no, but we've got beaver...'

I think you had to be there, possibly.

taken. We're going to a party on Saturday, slightly out of town, where we'll bash the hell out of a pinata, imbibe and consume, win a costume contest (i hope!), and bring the pumpkins we're going to carve with strongbad characters (TrogdOOOOOOOOOR!)
