this week's strip

I'm feeling more and more awful by the minute. Hopefully it's a trend that will not last. Never mind. As well as this week's strip, there's a last week's strip which you may have missed. The eagle-eyed among you might spot that this is no strip at all, but some photos of scribbles on envelopes crudely stitched together. Some of you might even recognise the envelopes; I put a picture on the back of every one, so someone has the goose being flattened, and the (surprisingly) understanding bee. I didn't mean to, but once I'd gotten started it was hard to stop. When I'd finished a pile of orders, I had this sudden urge to mount them all on the wall of a small gallery. But that would have made them even later. This week's strip is equally slapdash: a hand-loosener, designed to exercise away the cramp from using a dip pen/secateurs. Not both at once. But I think I probably put the cramp back in by colouring it.

Sara and I truly enjoyed our JD Original. Do you need a pic of it for posterity?

I took photos myself, thanks

"flattening the goose" -- new fave excuse.

And hey, I almost get a cameo in one of your strips! Yay!

not for the last time, I hope!

"diminish and sink into the west"

Ha! Of all the squishy melodramatic lines in "Lord of the Rings," that is probably my favorite. I use it at every available opportunity.

I love that moment
it brings a tear to my eye it does

I like last week’s a lot. I am assuming that you still have copies of the things and that at some point I can get them direct rather than through post, but it does look like I’m missing out on envelope decoration.

On this week’s & hair: I was amused by the Jeremy-the-woman thread to see ‘pink hair then, and may still do so.’ like, well, it may be pink again but certainly not ‘still’ in any way. Different colour every time I see you.

The screened comment was (is) just some unintentional fuck-up with juggzy’s coding, if you haven’t seen that.

Re: nearly run out
Oh! One of each, please if still available.
18th Dec, 2005 17:35 (UTC)
can do!
... just. Ah, but when to hand over? Am I going to get to see you before christmas?

Damn doppelgangers! I had one in Oxford, (saw her once outside my flat, the resemblance was uncanny, same hairstyle, same clothes and all.)
Since she also seemed to have a tendency to snog random blokes at slimy SU bops, this caused me no end of embarrassment on campus.
"No, I have no idea who you are, and no I NEVER snogged you at last weeks bop, I NEVER got to the friggin bop." (Argument with aggrieved stranger continues.)

I wouldn't mind
if I didn't spend quite so much time being distinctive, you know?
