local news discovery of the day

Didcot man keeps more than 30 owls in back garden. The photo accompanying the article is a bit of a strange one. My thoughts went something like this: why are they photographing him with two cats when the article is about owls? Oh my god! They *are* owls!

I would really like an owl/cat hybrid. Is there an address where i can write to him and request one?

It's probably another one of those things that he doesn't really often like to shout about ...

it's not shameful! let your owl/cat hybrids free!
they would purr and sit in warm places but they would also go twit twoo and be able to fly and swivel their heads about. what's not to love.

adorable, yet disturbing
Give them gecko feet also and you're onto a winner.

Are you accepting orders?
"They just look like little balls of fluff with orange eyes at the moment."

I'll have 14, please, and enough coffee and cigarettes to stunt their growth.

They are amazing! I want them. Even though I already have an actual cat who looks very like an own, what with having weird little bear (or owl) ears.

Very like an "owl", even.
