exciting incidents of weekend

Water Lily 3

I went home and made fresh peppermint tea from the black peppermint (or possibly chocolate peppermint, I can quite remember what I planted) that I had to hack back from the path last week. It makes very good tea, but it' stinking up the fridge a bit. Also, I could really do with a muddler. Can I get one from Boswells, I wonder?

Saturday we struck the exhibition and painted over the holes in the walls. Then I went to Eynsham for a party. We found a secret door in the bamboo circle in the garden, and when I said "light the sconce!" they did (there's a sconce in the living room). The bathroom really gives me the fear, though, the ceiling bulges downwards towards the light, giving the impression that it's slowly dripping towards the floor, like honey on a spoon.

Sunday, the pond made a waterlily.

The bathroom ceiling is quite low on the list of things that give me the fear about our house. In fact, it's quite low on the list of things that give me the fear about our bathroom.

Really glad you came round and found the secret garden beyond the bamboo cave.

I worry that we might still all be our evil earth-2 counterparts.

"the ceiling bulges downwards"

We used to digs where the kitchen ceiling had a bulge like that.

One morning we came down to find the kitchen ceiling on the floor..

The funny thing is that we heard nothing.
