Pffffurgh, ever since I saw Trollhunter I've been feeling kind of nauseous. Its endearing combination of bright flashing lights, low-res interjections, eye-popping night-vision sequences, virtuoso shakey-cam and seething low-light sequences meant it covered (I think) every available migraine trigger. I'd have left but it's really very good. I would recommend it to anyone, really. I appreciated the bureaucracy humour and superior creatures, and was surprised to discover how much I already knew about Trolls. Guess I must've read a book about them at some point. Could I stop feeling sick sometime though please? It's been days.

Oh, and I got a new pair of shoes:

Wow, I didn't know effects like that could last for days. Just another reason why too much fast-cut shaky-shaky is a bad idea. There should be a special stabilised edition of films like that for people with medical or aesthetic objections.

It was a pretty superior example of the genre but I seem to be pretty vulnerable to that stuff at the moment. Bringing on the grim memory of around seven-eight years ago when I just dipped in and out of being migrainous for the best part of a year.

Dems very furry shoes! Possibly a bit wriggly to wear.
